The new "Stromberg" film: Shooting is already in full swing

“Papa” Bernd Stromberg will be back this year: Work on “Stromberg – The New Movie” is already in full swing.
As Bernd Stromberg aka Christoph Maria Herbst (59) once said: "The sun is grinning from every crack in my face - I could puke confetti!" Fans of the crude cult series are likely to feel the same in light of the new news. Because, as has now been announced, filming for "Stromberg - The New Movie" has been underway for a few days. The starting signal was given on February 18th in Berlin, before further filming will take place in Cologne.
The 13 years since the end of the series and almost ten years since the first film spin-off have not left Herbst unscathed, as he jokes in the press release: "Our make-up times have doubled, the costumes are a little tight, the lines are slower to learn," says the title star. "But otherwise: everything is as usual and that's a good thing. Stromberg remains a rock in the surf of these uncertain times."
Director Arne Feldhusen (54) can hardly believe his luck at being able to capture Bernd Stromberg and Co. on film once again: "I'm really looking forward to having the old Capitolers in front of the camera again. And I'm just as excited about my old guys behind the camera!"
The cinema release has also been setMore good news for all fans: The cinema release of the second "Stromberg" film has now also been confirmed, and will be on December 4th of this year. "Stromberg", a brand of Brainpool TV GmbH, is an adaptation of the British hit "The Office". The screenplay for the second film was once again written by Ralf Husmann (60).

At the end of last year, he revealed that he would be returning to the disgusting boss. "Ten years after the first film, so many people still ask me about Bernd that at some point I wanted to know what had become of him in the new world of work," the "Stromberg" creator explained in a statement at the time.
Not only Bernd Stromberg, former head of claims settlement at Capitol Insurance and "the dad" of the staff, is returning. His sometimes more, sometimes less beloved colleagues are also back in the game. These include, of course, Ernie Heisterkamp (Bjarne Mädel, 56), Tanja (Diana Staehly, 47) and Ulf Steinke (Oliver Wnuk, 49) as well as Jennifer Schirrmann (Milena Dreissig, 49). According to the film's synopsis, they all meet in a "mixture of nostalgia and alcohol, of old scores and new accusations".
